Musicals...

I was dragged down to be in the chorus of Hello Dolly several years ago. My mate took me along and into the rehearsal room we went where opposite us were the 20 ladies of the chorus, some very attractive too. My mate said we could be in here look at the 20 blokes in the men's chorus of which -

5 were pensioners
4 were happily married
7 had no interest at all in women
2 were young lads aged 14

That left me and my mate and the ladies chorus. Guess what , the ones most up for it were the married women........unbelievable.......we had a great time. I couldn't believe what went on. I then stayed and did many more shows with that society. Great times.

Wow, lots of musicals puffs in The Cellar, who'd have thought?

"Hairspray" was really good last night. The lead was played by some girl from Antrobus - her first break and she was brilliant. Mark Benton (temporary traffic lights on Birdhall Lane) was in it, he's quality. Some bird who used to be in Eastenders - excellent and Marcus Collins from Shitfactor -he was good too.

Cost me £175 for 4 tickets, parking and drinks in the interval, ouch! I wanted to go and see I am Kloot at The Ritz (£20), but when you've got a wife and 2 daughters on your case, you may as well give in. T'was a good evening out, but won't be spending that again in a hurry.

You should have left it there. It would have been like that scene from clerks where the bloke gets his mate to admit he has tried to suck his own dick by making it sound cool.

Possibly the gayest thread ever, but musicals can be a great night out.
I predict the death of this genre will be the new Les Miserables film. I can't believe humanity is being herded like sheep by hollywood into thinking it's any good. Anna Hathaway can't sing, Russell Crowe WTF! as well. What a load of shit - go and see it in the West End and leave the film to become tv bank holiday/ boxing day afternoon tosh.

Nail on the head mate! - so much so that we are not meant to notice she and the rest of the cast can't sing.
