In The Name Of Gerry Conlon - A excellent but horrendous portrait of government/police corruption and brutality in the aftermath of the IRA attacks in Guildford and Birmingham. None of the victims, from either perspective, saw justice served, the bomb victims real killers never served time (even though they confessed), and the police/ministers were unaccountable for their actions. Britain at its very worst.

If you found that one interesting suggest you look up one called 'Coconut Revolution' from about 20 years ago where the roles are reversed.
Basically the PNG army going into Bougainville to regain control after they want independence (and also at the behest of British part owned Rio Tinto Zinc company)
 
Just watched the official FIFA film of the 1970 World Cup. Its called The World At Their Feet. Its shot on 35mm and its very much of its time. Great to see Franny Lee putting it about a bit too. It's free to stream on the FIFA website. Gonna watch Germany '74 next.
 
Not sure if already posted but it was on the front page of my dodgy stick. World war 1(can't remember what it was called). Brutal to say the least. Need yer headphones on for the bombs.

Unadulterated chilling stuff, accounts from locals then and now and despite this disaster being 40 yrs ago shows the parallels with the lack / what information flows from the Kremlin to the population with their ongoing special operation.
 
I’ve just watched Ordinary Men on Netflix. About a Nazi police squad who signed up to police occupied territories and ended up murdering thousands of Jews. Hideous actions. These men had ordinary lives and jobs prior to signing up and had no major Nazi ideology. The worst part is they could have stepped away from the killings but very few did.

Also watched part one of the Saville documentary on Netflix. What a bizarre monster he was, yet revered by millions including Thatcher and Charles! The footage of him with Selina Scott on the Breakfast show was cringeworthy.

Edit- just watched part 2 - horrible dirty creepy bastard nonce. West Yorkshire Police and the BBC should be ashamed.

They are brilliant, no nonsense story telling of the tournament. Shame FIFA fucked that format in the later ones.

Three identical Strangers

True story
Three men who were all adopted meet each other accidentally and find out they're triplets who were separated at birth.
Great but with a sad and unusual ending.
