This is a picture of my now 12 year old son Harvey-James at the opening home game of the season v Chelsea, Harvey fell ill in 2004 aged just 9 months with meningococcal septicaemia a deadly form of Meningitis and was given a very slim chance of survival, Despite the such awful adversity placed in front of him at such a young age Harvey battled back to almost full fitness despite losing all of his toes on each foot and some digits on each hand, He is an absolute pleasure to be around all of the time and is always full of the joys of life with very little idea of how fortunate we are to have him here. I know my story could have been so very different without the wonderful work and support The Meningitis Now Charity continue to do. This year I decided to do something a little different to help raise funds and give something back by having a complete alcohol free 2015 in which I have so far raised over £6,800, If you can spare a small donation it will be very much appreciated but not only me but the Charity as well.
