I was bored one day about 5 years ago and decided to buy a cheap kids acrylic set and a £2 canvas from Wilkos. I didn't know what I wanted to draw and so painted a crappy picture of Ian Curtis. My mate liked it and said I should paint more. I got an 'U' in my GCSE for art because all i ever drew was were city badges haha. To be honest, think a lot of 'art' has always been about names rather than the images themselves.
5 years later and quite a few of you have my paintings in your homes for which I am truly grateful! I couldn't believe it when a well known poster on here inboxed me asking if I could do one for him. word got round and it's it's mental thinking MY city paintings are in someones living room or wherever. Below is the newest one I have done. There's not really a point to this post other than to say thanks to fellow Bluemoon members for giving me good (and negative feedback; which is always good!) over the years!
Thanks also to Ric for letting me post my pictures on here.
Here are a few others that I have done previously.
