This goal is underrated in my opinion. The way he takes the ball with his back to goal and makes the space to turn and face goal by faking a shot, then nutmegs TWO players with a toe poke, possibly the only way he could have scored. It’s up there for me. I never saw anyone else score this kind of improvised goal.
Yes, that's an outrageous goal. He's got no right to be scoring that. Eye-of-the-needle stuff.
But what about the other Norwich match that season? Tevez and Aguero combinations that were just devastating. I'm not sure that I've seen better football, at any level. Sergio's first! And his assist for the final one, scored by Johnson. Pure KDB. That match, as much as any towards the end, won us the title. Because our goal difference advantage had been whittled away. That restored it.
