He is shit, I really don't know if other people saw the same match as me. He is the weak link. You are told as a kid, either go to man and trackle, or stand off (which he does) and block the cross. He does neither. Granted he gets in good offensive poositions, but unfortunatly these first time flat cross are dogshit, and was lucky on this occasion one of them worked tonight (1st goal). Carling cup for me.

You can't blame Kolarov for not being good enough at that level - its the manager's fault for sticking with him over the summer.
He along with Lescott were the obvious two who needed replacing with proper world class defenders. Both have mistakes in them every match, and niether is good enough for a top four team never mind Champ League...................the left side is real concern and when the chips are down later in the Season, it will cost us.(Kolarov/lescott/Barry).

On a bright note - Milner has responded to the challenge and is looking the part. Now Mancini must stick with him for Sunday and as long thereafter as he continues to out perform others around him. AND Barry was looking a bit better too - at least playing with his head up instead of continually looking for Lescott to help him!

All of whom have done their bit excellently this season.

Clichy is the better left back and is probably one of the signings of the season so far considering his price but for games like Bolton, Stoke etc. then I think Kolarov should play, against the teams which play long ball and physical. Kolarov had a great game yesterday, did good against Bayern when he came on and scored against Napoli, although to be fair he was pretty poor in that game.
