What results do spurs get against the top 3
in that case you must have them winning every other game

loose against top 3

win - Sunderland, City, Bolton and Burnley

as much as I would like us to get a result out of Spuds I really can't see it happening

No, 20. Look closer.

There was a topic on this over a month ago...some interesting results.

Baring in mind this was before Pompy had been docked points.

Still got City to come 4th, should be interesting to see how it works out when I have another go at it tomorrow. Can't believe now there was some people thought that we could finish 3rd!! But it did look perfectly conceivable back then.

Just take each game as it comes. City will always be City and issuing predictions for the last 8 games is likely to leave us all looking like Met office seasonal forecasters. The fact is that even if you take a worst case 7th/8th finish and plot our finishes in the league on a graph, we are heading in the right direction. Granted we all want success yesterday but we are better than rags, which is why we are still here.

ive got us to finsih 7th with that predictor thing

with 65 pts

villa spurs and liverpool all above us

Agreed however I have us losing to Spurs and Arsenal, drawing with the Rags and still finishing fourth by 2 points. As always we are Past Masters at consistently being inconsistent. Lets try to enjoy the ride of the last 8 games.

We'll lose the spurs game but beat villa. I can feel it in my water. We needed to beat Fulham at home last season, it really came down to that one game, a few from the end, to determine who got the european spot. We fucked it then, we'll fuck it again. I like to maintain a sense of optimism with realtion to City, but this feels exactly like how it's going to come off.

I think I'd be reasonably happy with 5th, though. If Spuds get the CL place, i think it'll help to re-inforce the breakdown of the old guard, and will represent serious damage to Liverpool.

And to be honest with the goal difference last year a bloody draw against Fulham would have been enough!!

TEAM P GD PTS
1 Man Utd 38 56 88
2 Chelsea 38 58 86
3 Arsenal 38 46 86
4 Tottenham 38 28 68
5 Man City 38 20 68
6 Liverpool 38 25 67

I think we will just miss out

Just had a look at the remaining fixtures for the five clubs challenging for fourth spot and I see it finishing like this:

Man City 70
Spurs 67
Liverpool 65
Villa 65
Everton 61
