i used to drink with rodger in the beechers pub many moons ago top lad
see him all the time now around te race course

you may remember me then cos i was always in there asking him for spends lol my mum is bernie his ex missus theyre not together any more but he brought me up from when i was 3 years old so i obviously still class him as my dad

yep no bernie as well, e spent more time in the pubthan he didtraining or playing lol
his dad dickie is a top fella too

The Latics have attempted several times to contact Roger but to no avail. 'Where is Roger Palmer?' went round Boundary Park several times and still goes today.

yes he did, me and my brother spoke to joe royle in brannigans not long after he left city and he tolsd us that roger used to go to training witha right hangover all the time but because his style of play was to just well.... goal hang lol he said he would let him get away with murder cos despite this he would still score when he needed a goal the most.
