The Latics have attempted several times to contact Roger but to no avail. 'Where is Roger Palmer?' went round Boundary Park several times and still goes today.

on 1 January 2008, the BBC sport website put out an appeal for information on Roger's whereabouts, ahead of the Oldham vs Everton FA Cup Third Round tie. The teams last played in 1990, with Palmer the only player whose whereabouts are unknown. [1],
So basically, he's Oldham's Berti?

yes he did, me and my brother spoke to joe royle in brannigans not long after he left city and he tolsd us that roger used to go to training witha right hangover all the time but because his style of play was to just well.... goal hang lol he said he would let him get away with murder cos despite this he would still score when he needed a goal the most.
