Apparently the nation's top choice for funeral music is "My Way".

I have told her indoors that I would like Allegri's Miserere as they're filing in, and Adios by Glenn Miller as they are leaving. What are others having? Some of you can't be that far off.

I know all the jokey cremation ones - Burn Baby Burn, Come on Baby Light my Fire, Smoke Gets in Your Eyes, Another One Bites the Dust, etc., but these are my serious choices, albeit open to change if I think of something else.

It's macabre, but it has to be faced, unless you are not having a service at all, as some folk prefer to do.
And did you know that the original writer of My Way, a Frenchman Claude Francois, electrocuted himself whilst adjusting a light bulb in the shower? True. Or "shocking", as James Bond drily commented when he chucked an electric fire in a villain's bath while the villain was in it.
