My Wife / Hospice tonight / Your bucket list

Gutted for you mate. I hope you and your lad are ok, and as silly as this sounds, Bluemoon as a community will always endeavour to help those who need and ask for it.

We're wishing you the best

Sorry for your loss Ant

You have been an absolute rock during this awful time

I wish for you and yours you find happiness again in time, may not feel like it now but it will come.

So sorry for your loss Ant. You and your family have my sincere condolences.

Not one to post too often but am at home thinking about my wife/ Life / and all that it entails
She has just been admitted to a hospice in Wellington NZ.(no good outcome from here we are told)
We have battled this thing for 7 years
I feel quite low tonight , Just come home and opened a bottle of Chivas Regal she bought me for my birthday last week

We ticked off a few bucket list things for her in the last 2 months....

Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, swimming in a pool 55 stories up.. Awesome
letting our son do his flying lesson on his 13th Birthday.. Awesome
Getting her adn my sons NZ citizenship together last month ... Awesome (they did push a few things thru for her)
Her doing a jet ski adventure in the Gold Coast ....Awesome
Helicopter ride over the Gold Coast.... Awesome

My Question is what are your bucket list things..
and why do we wait till we are told not long left before we do these things?
Im not sure I hav any bucket list things , does that make me odd?

Take it slow, mate. One day at a time and all that. Try and live a bit in the moment.

Life is what happens whilst your making plans. The plans might be exciting and the times good, but we all come back to ourselves and those we love in the end. Cherish that. It's worth more than any helicopter ride, awesome memories though they may be.

I hope and pray that everything goes absolutely as well as it can for you.
