I haven’t seen it - I only watched the first one about 2 months ago as I read about the bridge being in it. I too assumed it was real when watching it ha haDid the shed make a return for the sequel or was it recast?.

That’s definitely one of the ones I went throughOne bridge in Waitsfield was whacked last week by a truck that was too big
Next week I do the 2nd part of the intro, very briefly describing the different trusses bridges have. I only filmed that last week as I realized I hadn’t explained with a Kingpost truss or a Burr truss etc wasSolid start, mate. Well done. I’m looking forward to the rest of the series.
Good that you explained why the bridges are covered because that was a question that was forming in my mind as I watched the first 2 minutes.
My guess is it would have been very basic without the necessary fixtures and fittings to be a real covered bridge. To build one now costs millions. It wouldn’t be viable to construct a permanent one for a 2 minute cameo in a filmShame they didn't tbh.
Think if they had left it there it would have made a fitting memorial to the Maitlands' deaths and created a local tourist destination.
Bet there aren’t any Pegram trussesNext week I do the 2nd part of the intro, very briefly describing the different trusses bridges have. I only filmed that last week as I realized I hadn’t explained with a Kingpost truss or a Burr truss etc was

MES. Why did you move to that area ?So far I have filmed at 11 bridges, the ones within an hour or so of me.
Will go out one day every other weekend and blitz 4 or 5 in one area.
I’m in the very south of Vermont so once I start getting up north it will be an overnight job and get in at least 5 a day - maybe more when it is lighter in the evenings
