The Western Union bit had already triggered alarm bells in my head yes they are a honest business but are used by scammers (like the old send money to Nigeria on eBay one) then my full details at the bottom really did have me thinking major scam here so I googled the company name and found this http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?p=34731933
Looks like they are working round the local papers so if you see this sort of ad with an email ending .....shp@consultant.com don't do it and ignore the email you will get glad I fully looked into it before I sent them any details

There's another scam going around where someone will knock on your door to say that they're doing surveys on bums, and to show them.
Don't do it, it's a con, they just want to see your bum

I had that one round here recently, she was about 21 and very good looking, but I had to tell her that I was in full time employment, fully up to date with my mortgage, owned my own car and lived alone, so there were no bums in my house and suggested she look elsewhere.
maybe I should have asked to see and take a photo of hers just to warn people.

I've been mystery shopping for about 3 years now so if you're interested I can give you some details of genuine companies. PM me if you like. A word of warning though, the assignments are getting harder to come by due to the recession and a lot of companies have really cut the fees. In some cases you don't even get a fee just a contribution to a purchase. It's ok if you're going to be in an area and want something or can find something you might want to buy but not really a serious money maker these days. When I first started out I was doing on average 20-30 visits a week but now I'm lucky if I can get 2 or 3 a week.

Good luck with it if you decide to sign up. Just don't nick my assignments ;)

Do you have to show them your bum?

made me lol.

I had a bloke round last week saying he was from Camelot. Came in a nice car with a nice lady. Both of them had photo ID ( which set alarm bells ringing straightaway!). Said I'd won the lottery! (hahahaha). Claimed my mum had bought a ticket to surprise me and it had wom over £4 million! (as if!).

But the lengths these people go to! Not only did they have ID, but they put someone on the phone who sounded exactly like my mum! ( fucking wums) and they even had a pre printed check with my name on it!!! Would you believe the cheek of the fuckers?? They even had a few fake reporters and a bloody TV camera in tow!

Could I get rid of them? could I fuck! Kept trying to give me their fake cheque and sticking cameras in my face. In the end, I signed a 'form' ( like it was real - Ha ha !) saying they could give their fake £4 million to charity or whoever the fuck else they liked as long as they did one.

That got rid of the bastards, although they even put some bullshit story in the papers about it after. (WTF???)

I wouldn't have minded but they had my mum ringing up in tears about it later because they'd taken her in with their saddo scam aswell!

Didn't get me though! Oh no.

Just goes to show though - you cannot be too careful!
