Name a team who used to be better than us

That interests me because I always saw us beat Charlton. 4-0 at home, a big away win, too. 5-2 or something? I recall a 3-2 under Pearce.

Charlton fell apart once Curbishley walked away. No chance of replacing an influence like that. He oversaw everything.
 
Well, we were in the 3rd tier for a year, so at least 44 teams were better than us.

And we finished 3rd, so 46.

I hated not being able to beat Charlton and Boro though.
 
Birmingham and Huddersfield I remeber thinking they would spank us.

Ipswich and then we spanked them in the cup ;)

The likes of Leeds and Newcastle was unthinkable we would have players of their quality.

I remember being jealous of Southampton and the player Perhars(sp)
 
Anyone remember when Wimbledon gave us a gubbing at home! Jeez

Tell you what though guys and gals...Losing makes you appreciate winning sooooo much more
 
Didnt Doncaster Rovers knock us out of the FA Cup quite recently, I think Pearce was in charge at the time.

Yep. Worst day of my life. Holiday in France cut short by a week. Spent the whole day driving back from the South of France. Got home knackered just in time to see it go to extra time and then out on penalties!

Shrewsbury? Halifax?
