Name Cancelo's position

To me he's playing either inside left or inside right, with the order to scramble back.

Gundo doesn't get enough credit in this regard, he shifts out wider when Cancelo has the ball to essentially become a stop-gap wide defender.

Ubique -
When he has a good game it can mean 'Everywhere'
When he has a bad game it can be changed to 'all over the show'
(not that he has many of them now)

I must be a mixture of too literal and too fucking miserable then as I was a teenager all through the 70’s ...
Who gave him this nickname?? I’ve never heard of it ... Stop being a miserable fucker yerself, I said your shitty ditty was brilliant didn’t I?
I am not going to argue with you, and don’t give a fuck how shitty it is, but having just seen the thread that Neville Kneville has died I have no desire to have an argument. It’s not my ditty by the way it was for Tommy Booth and more latterly used for Richard Dunne. I have seen him referred to as Len by quite a few posters in here, but nothing official. Enjoy your day

Not arguing with you mate, was just joking but you are obviously in no mood for any form of banter ... You have a nice day too.!

Pep's done similar before with Lahm, Alaba, Kimmich, even Delph and Zinchencko to an extent - getting the full back to tuck in to give you an extra body in defensive midfield.

But I think what we've seen from Cancelo in recent games is something a little bit different.

When we have the ball, he's playing way higher up - in positions you'd expect DeBruyne, or one of the Silva's. More of a playmaker / number 10 role than defensive midfielder.

Gary Neville summed it up pretty well the other day - he's like the player in training who has the bib on and can go wherever he wants!
I get you mate, I think the difference is that Cancelo is more skillful than all the others and has a genuine attacking and creative side to his game, I even mentioned a few weeks back about the possibilty of him being used in the midfield in his own right.

Pep has created a new position called allovertheshop. Cancelo has it down perfectly and Bernardo is learning it too.
