Name the players

Dragoslav "Steppy" Stepanovic just looks like some old tramp! God he was shite!

In case anyone is puzzled about who Stepanovic was and what he gave City, here's a mini profile (it's a bizarre story in some ways!):

He was one of Malcolm Allison's stranger signings. He arrived speaking only Serbian (he was from Yugoslavia, but it's present day Serbia) and German - at the time this was highly unusual for an English based footballer. English clubs only had English speakers - overseas players were only tolerated if they learnt the language (Steppy did to some extent as time moved on).

Allison is alleged to have said, "Well, the players will all have to learn Yugoslav, won't they?"

An experienced international (44 Yugoslav caps) Steppy cost City £140,000. He went straight into the first team for the opening game of the 1979-80 season but by New Year he was on the sidelines and made only 1 further appearance.

Even in the Reserves he found it difficult to cope with the speed of the English game.

In his spare time he played the Accordian!

He left City in the summer of 1981 after a total of 18 apps.

Today, he coaches in Serbia (he used his time at City to develop his coaching studies).
