Name three Modern Day actors who would guarantee you watching a film

He still looks like a fucking hobbit.

Not trying to be a pedant or a fussy bellend but, How modern is modern? What I mean is, I first saw Christian Bale in American Psycho 2000. Great film from a book by a strange author.
However, just five years prior to that were two of my greatest ever movies in Casino and Heat. both starring De Niro and the latter also had Pacino.

I'll assume 2000 onwards? So, for that I'll say
Christian Bale:. Never seen Batman but loved everything else he's been in. Machinist, Shaft, Terminator Genisys... good films.
Denzel Washington: Only 'man on fire' couldn't hold my interest. Everything else he's been in I've seen has been superb. Particularly Training Day and The Equalizer.
Will Smith: I can't help but be drawn in and root for his characters in I am Legend and I-Robot. The former is one of the few modern day movies I wept at...
He had to kill his dog and was left alone in theworld

I've had to omit the best actor of the three decdes between 1970 and 1999. De Niro made too many goofy comedies this millenium and I don't like many, that naughty grandpa is funny and Zac Efron is good in that but, kind of spoilt my memories of my hero a little. Perhaps I'll mellow and warm to his lighthearted roles when I get over 60.... but I doubt it!

Movies are about opinions but some things are just not right unless you are insane so

Terminator Genesis is shit
Man on fire except the finale is way better than the fucking equalizer
Will smith plays will smith and anyone who weeps over a will prince of bel air Smith film shouldn't comment on the art of filmmaking

Pretty much this. Will Smith plays Will Smith but with other people telling him what to say. I stopped liking him when he punched that fan who kissed him. I seriously doubt he would have done the same if the fan had been female and looked like Jessica Alba. He also made a **** of himself at the Oscars. Lost a lot of respect for him with those two incidents, and by that I mean I think he's an utter fucking prick and I won't be watching anything he ever stars in again.
I actually used to really like him.

I wasn't aware of those situations but he is a very limited actor, most actors just play themselves with lines, the only defence I can offer him is that his son is the biggest **** outside of brand/Corbyn to walk the earrh

Christian Bale
Robert Di Niro (provided it's not a comedy)
Jake Gyllenhaal

Charlize Theron (a beautiful woman and wonderful actress)
