I guess the irony isn't lost on this thread, talking about not taking an ego like nani when you have Balotelli and Tevez in the same room. Wow.

But that's precisely the point, we don't want more...

I mean about the ones that want him to go to you. He speaks to highly of United to move to City anyway.

No to Nani. . . Valencia yes. . pacey winger that actually does cross it.

This...their only world class player, apart from granny shagger, that is

Nani is arguably the best winger in the league when he's on form, unfortunately (for him) he bounces in and out of form a lot but even in a 'disappointing' season like last season, he still got 12 goals and 13 assists for the scum (Valencia got 6 goals and 15 assists in a great season for him). He is a first class twat though and will probably go to Italy if they sell him. I agree with johnmc, he is better than Johnson, much better in fact, he is a constant threat instead of a threat for 10 minutes. Every time we play the scum Nani is one of the players I fear most, along with Shrek.

Anyone watching the Euros can see what a quality player he is. Outshining Ronaldo in the Portugal team at the moment.

I prefer AJ though

It's probably just the usual agent/player delays to get a new, bigger contract. Although this season there's been an unusual amount of rejections (very unusual) with Morrison, Pogba, some young defender, Nani & maybe more?

Even if he is inconsistent he is one of their better players so he is probably angling for a pay-rise to be somewhere near Rooney and the scum are kicking it back. Caving in to Rooney was probably one of the worst things they could have done (even if they didn't have much choice) and will cause all sorts of problems for their pay structure as all the players want a slice of the gravy train. Their wage bill went up 10% on their last accounts even without a load of bonus payments (Andersred blog Q3 accounts).

I still expect him to re-sign for them as I don't see any of the top clubs in Europe queuing for him although there may be a chance of PSG or an italian club going for him.

As for having him here, nope, even if they'd sell to us it would be a ridiculous price. On a free in a year's time, maybe, depends on what we do with our squad this summer but even then I'd expect us to be not interested enough to match what wages he'd want and he'd end up abroad somewhere.

Being pushed out of the swamp apparently.

Madness if you ask me, he's better than Young and when on form is better than Valencia. Valencia was better last season but Nani wasn't at his very best.

In every opposing team there is always at least one player who you fear will cause you the most damage. For me, that player for United is Nani by a mile. Now we are top dog in the Premiership it is just as important we take any opportunity to weaken our strongest opponents whilst strengthening ourselves. He's proven premiership class, and like Tevez, is the finished article. We must only ever buy players now who are better than what we have already, and there is no room for sentiment anymore over who we like or don't like.

If he was forced out of United in a hostile sale, can you imagine how much animosity he'd have towards them? Whoever he would go to, when they come up against the rags he would play his socks off.

IMO on his day Nani is the best winger in the league, he is inconsistent but even in an inconsistent season he productivity is there for all to see, he scores lots of goals and sets them all up.

I think there's a 0% chance he'll come here but if he did I wouldn't complain, the sort of width he provides for a team is exactly what we're lacking.

How many did you eat when Carlos signed?

Not the same, he was only on rental to the rags whereas Nani is rag through and through. Despise the little ****. Only IMO of course. Swap to Spurs seems a good way out with Modric going the other way.
