Yep Foden over the Dok. But huge shout out to the Dok, he has really upped it a notch last few games.

good all round, notable mentions to Doku (would the real Jeremy Doku please stand up) Khushanov, Rodders and Alfies lad, but I went for Foden, looks back to his best and will hopefully make the number 10 role his own

Went for Doku. He's the sort of player who has to have a really good game to get praise I find.

When you think of they hype surrounding Madueke's performances at the minute, have Doku's been that far off that?

O'Reilly and Khusanov also impressed me in the little defending that they had to do. And of course Foden was brilliant again, slowly getting back to his best and making all the experts (some among our own fanbase) look silly for what they've said about him the last year

Foden for me. Can’t get on board with tonight’s Doku love in. Yes great goal but otherwise his decision making and final ball were standard
Its not a Doku love in but an appreciation of what hopefully is an enhanced level of performance. Was it perfect no but it was a level above what people have been critical of in the past. Despite what you say last night he was a constant menance and more often than not did make the right decisions. He is still relatively young and has a way to go yet to become an elite player but the signs on recent evidence at least are that he is moving in the right direction. The goal was of course as you say a sublime effort.

Philius Foden then Jessa.
Nobody had a bad game.
Also, it is the 2nd consecutive game that Donnarumma made a very important save (just before the sending off). I've seen us concede from those fairly frequently. his passing out was pretty good too - so in the mix for 3rd spot.

Kevin De Bryne.

Came back, waved a lot, smiled a lot, looked slightly embarrassed to be there, hooked pretty quickly before he could threaten to do anything against us, spent much more time after the game with his ex-team mates than his new ones....

Surprised how few votes there are for Nico O'Reilly, I thought he had a really good game, wasn't really playing LB, in fact was often was one of our most forward players.

Above all that though, he brings bite, strength, a bit of niggle, some adventure even to a team that is often a bit "safe".

Please Pep keep playing him.
