That annoyed me too. Generally people did stay but the moment the game ended, everyone left and KDB and Pep walked around an empty stadium.

Still shit though. I felt that if everyone had stayed, singing like fuck, cheering them as they walked around the pitch, would have given the players and Pep such a boost. That can make a huge difference to a teams mentality going forward. Your team need you all this season and you need to step up. If that had been the support of the 80's and 90's, the stadium would have been fucking bouncing.

I stayed to the end but the early leavers do not bother me as due to public transport I understand why.

The greed of Uefa (and the clubs) seems to have no limits.
The sensible day to play this game would have been Wednesday.
Oh no, it no doubt got them a little bit more tv money by having an empty Thursday night slot filled.
I wonder what input the club had on choosing which day ? Surely we pointed out Arsensls 4 day rest period before a HOME match?
