Napoli president saying now that he thinks they need to rest players against us because they have a big game against Inter at the weekend. I think that, having already messed up against Shaktar, they're looking at this group and thinking they'll need to settle for second and focus on the league.
It's weird that club president would make such statement.

I'm kind of on the fence on this one. Part of me thinks we'll go with the same team (maybe Danilo in for Delph) and the other thinks we might go back to 3-5-2, ensuring that we dominate the ball and nullify their attacks.
3-5-2 is hopefully out of the window. It doesn't allow us to dominate possession and if anything causes us more problems than it solves.

PEP: Saturday was the best performance we have produced. Tomorrow is a new game and new competition so we are focused

PEP: We have to adapt for Napoli, they have a different playing style than what we see in the Premier League

Hard to see beyond the same team that started the Stoke game but it all depends on whether Pep wants to alter the formation to negate Napoli. Gundogan, Bernardo and Danilo could all comfortably slot in the side depending on the way we set up. Don't see a need to play Aguero just yet, keep him on the bench in case we need him but otherwise give him a few weeks to recover, 1 sly elbow/knee in his ribs could set him back a few weeks. As good as Napoli have been, we're better both individually and collectively and we're at home, if Pep sets us up right we'll win and i trust him to do just that.

i could not find a thread for Vincent Konpany continued absence can anyone give an update i must admit to be concerned i thought we had him sorted out injury wise. its worrying because PEP will sadly run out of patience
