Why should we prioritise Sunday
 
I like the lineup bar Bernardo starting. If Pep insists on him playing, why not rest him for Arsenal on a quick turnaround? Bobb and Savinho are right there.
 
Wasn't Nico brought to the team to help Rodri get that occasion rest when we have a mid week difficult game sandwiched between two weekend difficult games?
This is not a season defining match so I am bit concerned about Rodri starting despite an understandable slow form and Nico not given a chance yet again.
The man cant do three intensive games in a row.
 
Why the heck is Bernie starting again ? and Rodri is going to play 2 games in 3 days ? let's just hope there are no injuries.

Because it's a PL rival and potential six-pointer. Losing to Napoli might impact seeding in Champions League but ultimately not impact how they finish. Look at PSG's start last year.

I actually think we've got more chance of winning the CL than the premier. If we qualify for the latter stages all the new players should be bedding in nicely.

I understand. Like I said, I hope I am wrong and they get a comfortable lead and he can pull off some guys. But I'd glady trade a loss tonight for the best possible chance to win Sunday. Playing MD1 in the CL as a Super Bowl is short-sighted to me.

After last year, pep will not want unnecessary risk later in the cl league games.

Rodri may play 90 or 60 who knows

I agree with this. But the point is that CL is all about the playoff rounds which are next calendar year. So this is the time to rotate when the results aren't do or die.
