Napoli post-match thread

As I see it.All teams have 3 games left to play. City 2 away games and Feyenord at home. Lose the 2 away ? - and beat Feyenord at home = 12 points.
Shaktar have 6 points - could end up with 15 points. Napoli have 3 points - could end up with 12 points. Then it would depend - imo - on the better result
of City (home 2-1). If Napoli win 2-0 they go through on better head to head.
Does goal difference play any part in this ?.

But Napoli have to play Shakhtar again...they can’t both get max points!!

So Sane got man of the match on the sky sports match report. Christ. His Dad must have written it. Hilarious.

You must be joking. I don't like to slate players after a big game win but it was his worst performance this season.

Stones and De Bruyne were immense. I'd had give it stones

Excellent game, even if not that flashy or spectacular, it did live up to the expectations both tactically and technically.

Here in Brazil it was regarded as the most anticipated match of this week's UCL. Cant wait for the game in Naples now.

We won again - that's all that matters. 10 wins out of 11. Incredible form.

Did anyone watch the Shaktar Napoli match? Were Napoli unlucky or were Shaktar worthy winners?

Sort of both, if that is possible.

It was not that dissimilar to tonight, Shakhtar surged to a 2-0 lead before Napoli got one back and then they really should have levelled it at the end with 2 or 3 big chances.

They rested Callejon and Mertens for that game though.

So you would expect a Napoli win in the return. Given they will need to win.
