Nasri back in full training

Last season we sold Dzeko for 12m and bought Bony for 27m, which means we spend 15 million more to downgrade !

Hopefully we will not do the same and sell Nasri to buy more expensive player with less quality.

I am sure Nasri can be an important player with Pep. Pep like his team to keep possession and Nasri is very good in this aspect.
Agreed

One good game against shit opposition. A game when he was one of the main players given the task of breaking down the crap opposition, which despite playing well he didn't look like doing until de bruyne came on and changed it leaving him an open net, then he comes out and gives it the big one about other players being predictable when 9 times out of ten he's a predictable soul destroying little crab himself, is just SO samir nasri
Fuckin hell mate, has Nasri knobbed yer missus or summat?

Please don't sell Nasri this summer!

I had forgotten what it's like to have extended periods of possession. We saw that today and it's all down to the amazing Nasri-Yaya chemistry.

I think the injury might turn into the best thing that's happened to his career here. Before that he looked overweight, disinterested and generally lacking motivation, but all that time out seems to have made him really hungry to get back and make an impact. He looks thinner, he's being more incisive and he sounds really up for it with everything he's been saying. He looks like a different player from the one who was waddling around taking easy options before the injury

He's definitely out of the Newcastle game, but we don't know how long for yet

It's incredible how bad we've had it with injuries this year and just when it looks like things are looking up we get another injury.

He's made such a difference since he came back as well, absolutely gutted.

Newcastle will be a touch match.

I think he just felt a bit of tightness. He would never have played 2 games so close together anyway. Thought he was class today.

Didn't realise how badly we have missed him.

I actually thought we could carry it but him coming back into the team has highlighted how wrong I was.

Agreed - I have been impressed with him in the last two games he's played, just hope it is only a knock and he'll be back real soon. He adds so much to the team and he doesn't shirk his defensive responsibility either.

He was class yesterday. Everywhere, hunting down the ball hassling for possession. I hope it's just a slight knock. He's having a stormer at the moment and allowing the magician a rest.

Same here. We need him for the run in.

He was excellent again yesterday, and the club must be ruing the decision to omit him from the CL squad. Don't think the injury sustained yesterday was anything serious, hopefully he should be available against Stoke.

I suppose the only decent thing about it is he's fresh and putting everything into the PL games. Yep hope he's back for Stoke. We'll have plenty of options if him, Silva and Sterling are fit together.

Hindsight is 20/20. Nasri was supposed to be out for much longer than this so it was a good decision at that time. However what pisses me off the most is that Pellers omitted Nasri so he could put in Kelechi but in the games he would still put in Bony ahead of Kelechi. Like why would you include him in the first place if you never intended to play him? Might as well keep Nasri in the CL spot.

Have to admit I was wrong about Nasri. He adds so much to our play, just by keeping possession. Having him and a player like KDB is excellent as the variety of possession and direct play makes it difficult to defend against. Hope he isn't out long.
