Nasri goes sky blue

Any unwanted weight will soon drop off him. It's a shock to the system halting all running for several months, and probably a slightly less strict diet.

In comparison to most of us, he's still in great shape!

Absolutely pathetic excuses. Didn't see Vinnie coming back looking like a fat insecure lesbian

My guess is that Kompany has been a lot more mobile than Nasri, and for much shorter periods if rehab.

As much as I like Nasri, I think it's fair to say that Vinny screams out to be a more dedicated professional. That will be apparent with simple things like diet, but that's just hearsay.

Samir looked understandably nervous as the nurse called him forward for his super-sized gastric band fitting.

When he's fit and on top of his game he's a real credit and a class player.

I could imagine him playing deeper and a good link between attack and defence.

Maybe gone in the summer but if he gets over his injury who knows.

How old is he now?

Different type of injury, the amount of time out was different and when you can't train you are going to put on more weight... also a bit of fat isn't always bad especially when you are recovering from injury or illness as this is an energy reserve your body uses in the healing process. In fact if you look at the strongest man in the world contests the winners hardly ever look like body builders they have some fat on them because again fat has its uses here too in sustaining power and strength and helping the joints while doing the lifting(lubrication provided by interstitial body fat between the muscles). Maybe the obsession of having every player look like Bruce Lee at all times even when they aren't built that way is why there are so many injuries, it should be about what's healthy not what looks best.

Having said all that he does need to get into shape now, I doubt fitness was ever his problem though it all seems mental with Nasri. Low confidence or low drive to fight for the team at times, when he's at it he's one of the best on the field and he has a big smile on his face so I do think he does want to do well here at City.

anyone who thinks city would let him get away with eating and doing what he wants is fucking mental, hes not exactly overweight for fucks sake, some people on here just like a fucking moan, as for his hair ,well its his hair he can do what he wants with it.

Don't actually think he looks overweight but when you train almost everyday for over a decade and are in peak physical condition only to then have several months of inactivity,If you're not naturally fit you're bound to gain weight, Give it a fortnight and it will be gone. Absolutely nothing to worry about on that side of things.

I'm off the to barbers tomorrow morning with a picture of Nasri's new haircut.

A lot of volatile comments surrounding Nasri. A fine footballer on his day. Can see him in a deeper role. Think a few will be in for a surprise next season when he's still here!

I think early doors he was very consistent. Shame the injuries took over.

Better than any of the crap haircuts Balotelli turned up with and looks better than 'must look hipster' Otamendi's.
