Just had a look on arsenal talk their fans are going mental.

There is a poll asking if wenger should go. Majority saying yes. They seem to have no confidence the money will be invested in like for like quality if many signings at all.

I just hope they don't get mata. At the moment Liverpool and spurs look a fair bit stronger than arsenal for the coming season.

The Independent understands that manager Wenger was powerless to hold on to Nasri after a board meeting eight days ago at which principal shareholder Stan Kroenke insisted that it would be folly to sacrifice City's money and see the Frenchman leave as a free agent next summer. Wenger did not put up a fight and City hope to announce the signing of the player imminently.

Though sources suggested City and Arsenal were a distance apart on one element of negotiations last night, Arsenal had already prepared the announcement of the player's departure by yesterday afternoon. Confirmation is expected today of Nasri's five-year City deal, under which he will earn around £165,000 a week – almost double the £90,000-a-week new deal he was offered to stay in north London.

With Fabregas likely

Hate that word folly, kin idiots would do me :)

I like this bit...

At the beginning of the tour of east Asia Wenger appeared to put reputations on the line when he declared Arsenal could not be considered a "big club" if they sold Nasri and Fábregas this summer – "because a big club holds on to its big players and gives a message to all the other big clubs that they cannot come in and take them away from you," he said.

Bless.

See ya!

Honestly don't see how they are going to stand losing all these players. Even talk of bentner being sold as well ( shit but at least he's cover)

It's a complete rebuilding job, even if he gets all the money the likes of valencia, everton, Blackburn and Bolton will ask daft money for sub top 4 quality players (with the exception of mata)

He still won't sign a proper keeper either. Listening to Alan Hansen on five live tonight he seemed to think there is a good chance arsenal will fall of a cliff this season.

He is full of shit but on this occassion tend to agree with him. Shit defence sold their best most experienced defender sold their 2 best midfielders and probably their best 2 players.

Lee dixon seems to think de Jong is what they need and they can sign him from us. Pmsl

Do you have a link to that please ?
