its mid day the day before the game normally so it should be Sunday by rights

would we class Sunday as a working business day ;)
Nasri had to sign by 12pm today to stand a chance of playing on Monday. Saturday and Sunday are not classed as working days unless the final days of the transfer window falls on a weekend.

the premier league's buisness mainly happens on saturday and sunday incase u didn't notice and players can be signed on these days also so there offices must be open

I've come to the conclusion,this transfer ain't happenin : (

Well, we would look pretty stupid if we signed him before Arsenal have played Udinese... Nasri will deffo be a blue, but not until the end of the next week.

back of the sun wenger wants tevez for nasri, laughable wouldnt be able to afford his wages in a million years, cant see city going for that would strengthen arsenal big style

However, SunSport understands Tevez would be delighted to join Arsenal in a move which would be a massive boost for their fans

SunSport says otherwise....

Why do they even bother

Sun sport dont understand sh!t. This is where they got the story from. Some sh!t site came up with it yesterday afternoon. Its unbelievable the length journos go to fill paper when they have no story

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.cartilagefreecaptain.com/2011/8/11/2357334/tevez-to-arsenal-in-a-straight-swap-for-nasri" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.cartilagefreecaptain.com/201 ... -for-nasri</a>

All i can say is HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

The Sun talking rubbish.... AGAIN.... as if City will give him to Arsenal.. they will have Tevez and RVP up front... last year that would of given them a ridiculous amount of goals and would of won them a a trophy at the MINIMUM!

Come on Arsene, accept the £20mill for Nasri and concentrate on with trying to get top 4 next season!

SUN SPORT what a load of crap.

One thing I would like to say however is that Tevez would score loads in that team! but obviously city would never allow such a player to join them. If Arsenal did suggest such an idea I am sure we would have laughed and said... Nasri next summer for us!

Come off it.... with this story silly season has well and truly begun.

thinking of Van Persie and Tevez.....you wouldnt even need a defence with these two.......and lets be honest. London is far closer to Argentina than Manchester :)

Terry Christian is reporting that a deal is officially done sending Carlos Tevez to Arsenal and Samir Nasri to Manchester City in a straight swap. City would apparently pay half of Tevez's wages for this season as part of the deal.

Comical.

The article from the sun:

.....Nasri, who longed to join United, is understood to have told a confidante this week that he does not really want to leave for City.

Despite this, it says in the last bit of the article that he is still expected to sign by monday! You don't know what to believe, numerous people are saying it's all wrapped up, then come all the doubts that he doesn't really want to join and that if he does Tevez will be going the other way.

This is just complete lunacy! The Sun are unbelievable at times! How is it even legal for them to write utter lies like this lol! These rag wankers need to be shut down. Not only is it full of shit, its just god awful literature, a 5 year old can come up with better language than them! Im pretty sure they just make up their own words at times too like Don King so often does! Hilarious stuff really
