And we definitely lack ball carriers. Milner is basically all we have outside of the odd Yaya run. And Nasri is obviously an improvement on James.

Different player. Nasri will not do the kind of stuff all over the pitch that Milner did at Bolton. Milner was as good as it gets v Bolton. Nasri is cleverer in attack but will never play an alround game like that.

Lets hope he can now start to put a shift in week in week out like the one against bolton, to be fair I think Mancini has got a problem on his hands against spuds if NDJ is fit again.
From the Bolton performance I you think Yaya had the worst game out of the three.

I really dont like the idea that he is telling Arsenal he wont play, Its unprofessional in the extreme and players like that will come back and bite us in the ass in a few years time ala Adebeyor.

Didn't Samaras do this to "force" a move to us too...?

Right now you are the confused City....Cause you are being taken to the cleaners just like Adebayor deal. nasri is not worth the ages and transfer he's going for. Anyway we will see few months from now what the view on nasri is in this forum.
Getting taken to the cleaners? Are you for fucking real?

We. The Fans. Are not getting taken to the cleaners. We have low ST prices and get to see the best players in the league play for us and have a genuine chance of silverware. Whatever Nasri is going to be paid is no concern of ours.

The only cunts being taken to the cleaners are Arsenal fans, paying over the top prices to watch a feeder club with an outside chance of the Carling Cup at best.

I know which position I would rather be in.

Brilliant, brilliant post
Arsene seems to have suddenly run away crying..... respect SWP you sure kicked his arse off here good & proper.

Fair point actually. If the boot was on the other foot and one of our player was refusing to play, we'd be none too happy.

Having said that, if Wenger wasn't being such a complete tool, the whole situation would never have arisen. He could have sold Nasri 4 weeks ago and spent the last 4 weeks trying to find a suitable replacement.

Wenger has been a fantastic manager in many ways and he is arguably the best coach in the world, in the pure footballing sense. But in virtually every other respect the guy is a total and utter wanker. Arrogant in the extreme, rude (the not shaking hands shit is disgusting), stubborn to the point of stupidity. Basically a complete tool.

As he said he will not play? I have not read that anywhere other than on here, the MEN have just run a story that he wants it sorting this morning so he does not have to get on the plane this afternoon.

Personally I think he will go and he will play and then we will await the shit to hit the fan if and thats a big if they do win.

It is quite amusing that Arsenal fans cannot see that currently City are a better proposition on all sorts of levels than their own club. I know it must be hard for them to accept but if they really think that Nasri is only coming for the money then they really need to take a reality check. I reckon they could match the wages we are offering and Nasri would still be off like a shot.

Whether Nasri is worth the fee/wages is a completely different discussion though. The point is that when Nasri leaves Arsenal it won't just be because he can better wages elsewhere, it will also be because he can play for much better teams who have much a much better chance of winning trophies, clearly City are included in this. The way you are shifting from one (usually baseless) argument to another, you sound like someone desperately trying to convince yourself that things are ok at Arsenal. To be honest you sound a bit like you're having a bit of a breakdown.

He did but he was still pretty good imo. Good problem to have, we have a lot of games this season.

People saying Nasri is refusing to play, I haven't seen one piece in the media where there is any proof of this, just Alan Brazil suggesting it. It's wrong to accuse a bloke who may soon be wearing our shirt of this unless you know it to be true. I'm not sure it is. Arsenal may noit want to screw up the deal & may not want to play him, or he may be staying home to sign the deal.

Get the facts first before slaughtering the bloke.

the thing is surely we should be able to sort it this morning??? its only one thing that needs sorting, the hardest bits are already done!
