What does he say in part 2? I'm at work, so can't listen!
Interviewer: When you scored against City last year you seemed to enjoy that, we're going to try and forget that *both laugh*, you do play with a smile on your face, is that just a pure love of playing football?
Nasri: Yeah, it's a pure love...y'know...I love football since I was a kid, I watch every game on TV, and I'm really passionate about it. Last year when I score against City I was really happy because the year before with Arsenal we didn't do well against *emphasis* big team. And er....for me Manchester City were *dunno* for the big 4 so when I score I really enjoy it.*both laugh* oh....I apologise to the all the fans of City...I will try to score a lot of goals for you.
Interviewer: And Arsene Wenger, he's good at finding and developing young talent, do you have a debt of gratitude for where you are today?
Nasri: I will never forget what he did for me, he was like a 2nd dad, he came to pick me when I was at Marseille, I was international but I become the player I am now because of him and he always trust me even when I was injured and came back he always gave me a chance. He was always there for me, he always talk to me and now er...I saw the newspapers and everything and people are a little bit harsh with him and you cannot forget what he has done for Arsenal and English football. Umm...Me I respect him a lot and will always be grateful for everything he has done for me.
Interviewer: And...erm...moving on to your career at City you've chosen #19, has that got any resonance, reason behind it?
Nasri: No I didn't have a lot of chance *laughs*. For me, no, it's a good number but...y'know...*shrugs shoulders* I think it will be nice.*both laugh*
Interviewer: Is that how many goals you've set yourself, the target for this season?
Nasri: err....I wish, I wish that I can score 19 goals yeah, it will be alright yes.
Interviewer: We've got the Champions League draw on thursday, erm....who knows who we might get...there's a lot of big teams in there as well as us...would you fancy Barcelona in your group?
Nasri: nooo...but no, I'm not scared about Barcelona *serious look on his face* with the squad we've got I'm not scared at all, but if I fancy one team I want to play Marseille, yes to get back to my city, to play against them.
Interviewer: Would you get a good reception there from the supporters as well?
Nasri: Normally...yeah, yes, wait and see *laughs*, yes I'm from Marseille errr....I try to do everything for them when I was running out of contract, I signed a new contract extension to go to Arsenal to make them win money because they er...I joined Marseille when I was 9 and left when I was 20 so it's my club and it's my city so I would love to play against them and score against them *laughs*...and beat them *both laugh*, no...no feelings when you play...after the game yes...during the game no.
Interviewer: And your possible debut against Tottenham, so erm...*both laugh* you must have a great relationship with their supporters *laughs*
Nasri: yeah I think I will have a good reception there...but is a team who last year who I won against, I scored 4 goals in 3 games so er...I would love to play against them, we know always good crowd in White Hart Lane, good atmosphere and er...it will be good.
Interviewer: There's a rumour...that you like cricket?
Nasri: what *confused*?
Interviewer: Do you like cricket?
Nasri: Na...
Interviewer: Been set up again...basketball?
Nasri: Basketball *nods head* yeah I like it, I like it and tennis obviously and err....cricket...the thing is I cannot say I like or not like, I just don't understand the rules *both laugh*.
Interviewer: It's a difficult one to explain, and er...you've got a big twitter account, do you think social networking is like a new medium for players to get their thoughts out straight away?
Nasri: For me yeah it's good when papers say think about you which is not true, for when I can verify it, you can always say something...you know...can repair what the newspaper has said before so now after that I will tweet that I am a Manchester City player and I'm really happy because er...yesterday some of my teammates tweet about it but it was not official so I did not say a word, but now I will do it...it's good.
Interviewer: And what do you think about the song they've already invented for you? *both laugh*
Nasri: it's really...it's good, it's really good yeah...they've got plenty of imagination and that's perfect, I love that.
Interviewer: There'll be more *both laugh* Well best of luck with your career here at City Samir and it's been a pleasure to meet you.
Nasri: And it's been a pleasure to meet you to, thank you so much and I will try to do really well for the club and...win the title together.
Interviewer: That'll be nice...thank you.
Nasri: thank you.
