He is not a pep player in my book, not enough discipline or work rate off the ball!

I just happened to recently watch a youtube vid i stumbled upon, with Gary neville & Carragher highlighting Yaya & particularly Silva's laziness v Liverpool from two seasons ago.

Had Silva been Nasri, i don't know what the reaction would be on here. Just didn't bother doing his job at all. Amazing that the two players were asked to do exactly the same job, by the same manager, in the same formation, every week the next season & were still doing it a year later.

But imo it's fashionable to slate Yaya & Nasri but allow others to swan about. I think that may change & if everyone does get a clean sheet, perhaps Pep will allow Yaya & Nasri the opportunity to compete with such as Silva & reward the ones who put the most effort in.

thats not necessarily true.

Well it kind of is.... Higher intensity, high heart rate, more calories burnt, weight lost, lower body fat %, more efficient athlete (unless they drop under 10% BF). With the right nutrition and support (which he can more than afford), he should be tip top fitness considering how much of last season he missed. But... he's obviously not. Don't really feel sorry for him tbh.

Dont want to turn a nasri thread into a nutrition thead, but calories out vs calories in. Doesnt matter how much high intensity training there is. Thats what i was originally quoting.

He looks happy enough in those pictures. Then again, I'd probably have a smile on my face if I had three years left to run on a contract worth £120,000 a week.

I'd be beaming if I had a 3 week contract.

Looks like hes going to throw a hissy & refuse to leave! Basically a headache for the dressing room now as he will only create negative vibes as both he & Yaya are staying put for the same reasons! The humility & hardwork Pep expects of the squad like a 3rd division team will be affected to some extent.

Go on, I'll bite. How have you reached those conclusions?

Coz he has a suspect mentality? His history with france national team? Now u can tell me why it is not likely the case? With Yaya we already know from him/his agent they are here to collect the final paycheck. Yaya & Nasri are bosom pals. Yaya has stopped putting in the hard shifts for 2years now. Doubt if both together are particularly motivating influences in the dressing room?

I can tell you with authority that I don't know if what you have posted is correct. I can also post with authority, neither do you but, like others you seem to think posting opinion as fact is going to believed.

From what I have seen on the pictures of him training, he looks to be a well liked person amongst the players.
