Completely agree, how the co commentator said it was a heavy first touch, without realising it was a fantastic trap followed by a drag forward with the left.
However on the replay it was clearly seen but he didn’t try to get out of his hole, he just kept digging.

Foden is so much better playing in this position. It drives me insane watching Pep stick him out on the left just to use his work rate when we could be getting a lot more out of him.

The difference between wonder boy Grealish and Foden was just summed up in the move a few minutes ago. Phil was bumped twice in the same move kept on his feet and moved the ball on Silva like. Grealish would have sprawled on the floor eating grass. Someone needs to remind Tyler that Grealish broke lockdown rules at the start of the first lockdown but that's been airbrushed from history
