Nations League

Watching the first 25 minutes, what seems to hamper us a bit is that neither Rice nor Ward-Prowse are as quick thinking and gifted on the ball as Foden, which leads to him trying to play quick one-touch football and them either losing possession because they weren’t expecting a pass, or having to take two or three touches to control the ball before passing, killing a potential move out of midfield.

His first thought is to get it forward. Played some nice passes to the forward players who haven’t been able to utilise it or keep possession.
Yeah. Raz was a little unlucky with that square lay-off to Kane being a bit too far forward, otherwise it would have likely been a beautiful Phil-Raz-Kane-Raz goal sequence.
