Casillas is class, particularly in one on one situations. Indeed Hart has always watched Casillas' videos to try and improve. I think Hart has just had a dip in form, as many of our players did. After the highs of winning the season he made a few too many errors. Saying that though, he still made hardly any and has the character to bounce back. It would not be right to put Hart on the bench or out of favour at this stage. In big games he has often been the difference, he saved us many points in the title winning season. He will get back to form and will go on to be one of the greats for club and country.
When was the last time he didn't look like an accident waiting to happen? The Chelsea game, he's a decent keeper, nothing more and I remember his rattle out of the pram attitude when Given came. If we ever sign a goalkeeper who really is a viable alternative, he will slam a transfer request on the day we do that. If we went for Iker, Courtois, or another quality keeper, Hart will be off. He isn't improving, the last of command in his box is actually getting worse, the dithering when it's time to come, or stay is still as bad and the utter inability to thrown the accurately and with pace beyond 15-20 meters is still there.
