His first touch and control appear very inconsistent, probably too inconsistent for me. At times he looks like he’s a world beater, at others he looks like fucking bambi on ice.
There’s not been a bigger supporter of Sterling since he’s been here, even when he was getting pelters in the first season under Pellegrini. The difference is Sterling plays in a position which allows for that inconsistency, Ndombele doesn’t. Sane is sat on the bench and Walker isn’t, hence my comment about first touch allowances being more acceptable than a lack of effort.Sane has inconsistency in both areas so he’s probably my best bet to ask.
