this is the lad I would have above any other option mentioned and would have had him above Jorginho and Fred as well so I hope its true we are going for him (but I won't hold my breath)....for me he has the strength, pace and most important technical ability to play the ferna role.

What ever happens this summer and if we are to buy only one player we MUST find a player to replace/compete for Ferna's role....he won't make another full season if we dont have someone to put in there at times....plus I do wonder after Peps recent comments that he sees a way of extending fern's role is to move him into a the centre half position/midfield that he played vs arsenal?

I thought some of his passing was good, if a bit risky. He obviously has talent on the ball. But he looked lazy as hell to me defensively. Honestly reminded me of the fat, old version of Yaya

Still rough around the edges. Some of his passes in the first half were good. Invisible in the second. Barcelona’s midfield controlled the game with Messi being in there and up front as well.

If anything, it was Aouar who did a lot of defensive work. Not to say Ndombele didn’t but he wasn’t doing what Aouar was. He’s 22 sure but with some good coaching he could become a better. Whether he’s the player City needs is for Pep to say. Can’t wait to see who will be bought in the end
