30 M ?

Come on. You can hardly get good and already hyped players for that sum.
60 M seems to me the good and reasonable sum for him. However, if there is competition it can go to 70 M bonus included.
 
Reports Madrid are in for him. I like the very little I’ve seen of him. Anyone in the know about how he’s performing overall in the French league?

When he first came through he was outstanding playing in the Fernandiho`s position, quite a few players are, like Rice, but he has pace to go with it then Lyon brought through another DM and pushed Ndombele further forward a position he has said he likes apparently? . He is decent there but not worth us buying, his form changes according to who he is playing against the top teams he is great and against the poor teams he is pretty much anonymous.
For me that is because as an attacking force Lyon have better players but against top teams where they need to defend they do not, this for me is Fernandinho`s eventual replacement and the price we get him for is dependent on the player Pep and what we win this year not the press, I would also buy Phillip`s as well to replace Delph
 
If Madrid are in for him then we are gonna find it tough, Zidane is a huge sell for players. Especially French ones.
 
Not too bothered about Madid too be honest. The economy in Spain is in tatters and the tax man is calling, they have a very expensive wage bill and nobody wants to leave they bought a DM not long ago and the manager and President will probably blow their entire budget on a worldie trying to appease the fans, as much as the press and Lyon are trying to make this lad a worldie he is a DM and that is not going to satisfy the fans,

The economy doesn't impact Real.

They will cash Casemiro in, probably 50/60m to some Chinese team. Ndombele paid for.

I share your fear that the Chinesse will buy any old cast offs but is that not a thing of the past? I thought the Chinesse put a stop to huge fees and wages, but they have Ronaldo to replace Benzema Bale and James to get rid off their buys are going to be in attack

Yep any buys from outside China costs double the fee.

There is a limit but they are still happy to pay big fees, especially someone like Casemiro.
I think they will get Hazard to replace Ronaldo, Zidane likes Benzema so will keep him around. Bale will go if they get a big offer otherwise will likely keep i reckon.
 
For this position I really do trust Pep but I am confused by the pursuit for Rodri when Ndombele looks a better overall fit, sooner. Hope this is true
 
He was my favorite from day one, I'll be so happy if it really happens, I'm just skeptical because every day there are reports of another player close to signing
 
He was very good against us (but then again so was Jon Macken!)

He does have the qualities I think we need for that position but Pep showed in his pursuit of Jorjihno that that's not necessarily what he thinks we need (ie a level of physicality).

Hope we get him
