I read somewhere today that Nedum has recently snubbed a 6 mill transfer to Sunderland and wants instead to fight for his City place and win over Mancini to his cause. Good news, if true. He still has much potential, so long as he controls his verbage. An Englishman too...he might be aware that Boateng allegedly wants to leave.

Even though it is a great sign that he wants to fight for his place I still have doubts if Roberto will give him a fair chance

interesting if true, not sure if nedum is a top 4 player or has the ability to become one anymore.
defensive signings and eds promotions e.g. wabara etc could seal his fate in anycase

If Boateng leaves, and Nedum wants another chance, Mancini should give it to him. Everyone should be allowed a mistake. Granted he was stupid and shouldn't have said what he did but he's probably had some time to reflect now. Apology and move onwards and upwards with a Manchester-raised blue in the squad.

By slagging the manager off are you referring to where he said he doesn't think Mancini likes him - in what seemed to me to be tongue in cheek?

If so then I see no real harm in that - if however I've missed something then what else did he say?

So did a lot of people, and they are still here.

If he wants to fight for his place, then that's good enough for me. We'll have a lot of games next season, and at some point he will get an opportunity.

I am sure City will get a few enquiries as he was one of Sunderland's best players last season, and he scored a great goal against Chelsea.

Tevez did the equivalent when he was subbed against Bolton (?), and threw his toys out of the pram. Yet he's still here (for the time being). One rule for one and another for everybody else?

Id like to see him given another shot,we need a bigger squad and he fits inthe homegrown list,so doesnt effect 25 man squad.
he needs to know he`ll only play 10 games a season though.if he doesnt like it then dont bother.
