What a guy, every time we were shouting shoot he was just pissing himself laughing. Met his mum and sister in Copenhagen, lovely people. Keep it up Neddy!!!

Proper sports man and a credit to himself and the club..

Well done Ned.

Just watched Ned's 2nd half goal - did he pass to himself - brilliant! Well Done!

Was quality, a 1-2 with the Brummie player then a 1 with himself to slot away with his standing foot.
I would like to see him on the pitch next week.

Class today from Neddy

For fantasy league points will he get points for a goal and an assist cos he clearly played himself in with a beautifully weighted pass

He is a class act in every way. A very well brought up Nigerian English Gentleman and forever one of us, Mancunian Blue.

For years, I heard some abuse him from the Kippax [East Stand] and beyond. Nervous Ned, some called him. May be he was, but then he went on to become England U21 captain.

Rumours say that he could go to Liverpool. I say that would be a disgrace. He could be with us for life and club captain in the long term. He's already the PFA rep. He's a different player to Micah and we should treasure them both. Only the best clubs in the world want them. That should be enough information for you.

We are the Nedum Onuoha society!

Says it all really. Top lad and Blue through and through.

strikers finish today, great goal, ade and tevez would of been proud of that.

you could just see how much it meant to him, blue through and through, after he scored and celebrated he just put his arms in the air and walked backwards away from the crowd just taking it all in.

pleased for the lad, he's fell out of favour and he replied with a performance like that today, well done lad.

I am so pleased that Ned has got some recognition and that in a game city win 5-1 our RB gets man of the match. He played v well today as did others. It is a shame Tevez has been recognised as scoring the 1st but hopefully he will now go on to get the golden boot.

I hope to see Ned playing in the world cup. I would love to see he play for England but I'm sure if not he will be Nigeria's gain and really shine for them. Well done Ned and City! Great day!

He was amazing at the back today.. got in for everything and made sure they didnt get near goal when he was there.

Still needs a few more games to be a bit more confident running forward but apart from that Nedum had a class game!

He is 3rd choice Right back and 5th choice CB going by selections, which shows we have depth now.

I like him but given chances to play I can see him going to a team like Villa.

Started the game poor, and did some bad passes, but after the goals started flowing he was brilliant, especially second half. Very solid performance at the back and a nice tidy finish for his goal.

It's a shame he's not being credited with two goals, but I think we all want Tevez to beat Rooney.

His interviews are pure class too.
