He was not the bitter or twisted one, that fell to the nasty, little, bitter and vile Ian Wright. He could have been very bitter after what Gary Cook said about his Mam, but I don’t recollect him bad mouthing City at all only heard him saying good things about us.
I’d always believed that to be the case, my old school!Maybe be so, but Nedum went to Hulme Grammar School for Boys, Oldham.
Xaverian College always did turn out some very smart blues...

Just looked up Hulme Grammar, I knew that Nedum was an old boy as well as John Stapleton and Brian Cox the physics guy but didn’t know about Andy Barlow the footballer or Sarah Lancashire who was at the girls school.a pupil at the Hulme Grammar School, Oldham, where he achieved eight grade 'A's' and two 'B's' at GCSE. He then completed his studies at Xaverian College Manchester where he achieved three 'A' grades at A-level in Maths, Business Studies and IT
All correct lol
He’s a self-confessed City fan and too intelligent to blame the club for Cooke’s indiscretions His PodCast his football guests frequently mention that he a City fan. Yes. Sarah Lancashire and Shobna Gulati were at the girl's school when my sister was there. Brian Cox was in the 6th form while I was there. Andy Kershaw was a student there too.Just looked up Hulme Grammar, I knew that Nedum was an old boy as well as John Stapleton and Brian Cox the physics guy but didn’t know about Andy Barlow the footballer or Sarah Lancashire who was at the girls school.
The vast majority of people wouldn’t have the dignity to behave the way Nedum did, he would have been justified in swiping back at the club imo... but he didn’t.Personally I think he acted like a gentleman and a man with character enough to rise above the unnecessary things that were said about his mother. Genius enough for that and good on him
