I think this also shows the manager's willingness to recognise and reward our home-grown players. They won't be in the same pay-bracket as the 'big names' coming aboard but achievement should always be rewarded. Well done Ned.

Well given the repeated press speculation he was going to be included as part of the Lescott deal it IS ABOUT TRANSFERS as it means he will WONT be going to Everton.
