An "above average 5 month spell with us" is a pretty big understatement considering he scored 23 goals. Not saying we didn't have our reasons to get rid and I'm certainly not saying we'd be better off with him in the squad now but, come on, the guy was an absolute beast for that period of time.

That wasn't meant as a dig, as he was very very good during that time, but I think he probably exceeded everyone's expectations including his own. Sadly since then he has not only returned to his average level of performance, but it seems he has actually dipped below it as he had a good goal ratio in Spain before joining us.
