Negredo

He really is shit that Negredo isn't he?, aswell as Navas, Jovetic and Fernandinho.
They're all shit.
 
Please check out Spain's coach's face after the goal. It is clear what he is thinking "fuk, I must have underrated this geezer." :)
 
Bleedin injuries oh I wish that our players would not get involved with pre season international friendlies. I assumed incorrectly that because hasn't played for Spain he would be fresh as a daisy for our game MondaY, Now they report picked up a minor injury for Monday but should be fit to play.
 
The more I see of Negredo, the more I like him, and agree with an earlier comment, this guy will be a City cult hero. I feel in games I watch, he makes things happen, always running and harassing defenders, and for a big guy, has a great touch. But he also seems such a great fella, he is always shaking hands with everyone, a great team player that I personally hope is here for many years to come.
 
He was superb again last night going forward but one thing that made me really take notice and something I want to give him credit for is when in the second half sometime I think we had a corner and it got headed back. He started charging back towards our half and dropped back into defence as a CB to cover whilst Lescott and Nastasic got back.

Something that I really noticed and sums up his attitude as a player and a person in my opinion.

He shook hands with the referee when he was subbed last night. He's like a great big 30 goals a season puppy dog.

He did last Wednesday too.
 
Brilliant player, brilliant signing. Gets his goals, work rate and team contribution are off the charts, always seems to make his strike partners look good too. City aside, I think he could be the guy who, if he's picked, wins the WC for Spain this summer, offers real quality in the position they're weakest.
