Re: neighbour dispute advice

i`m not trawling through here seeing if you have the answer already.

look on your deeds on the boundary of the your property you will see a letter T attached to the boundary line on each side. if the T is in your garden the boundary fence is your responsibility if the T is on their land its their`s.

pm me if you want i have a few properties and had had this problem before

Re: neighbour dispute advice

Fuck putting up with neighbors like that, I would buy a box of cockroaches and put through one of their air bricks. And tell them to suck on their mums piss flaps.

Early this year a neighbor threw an egg at my window, went round and threatened to rip him and his family out of the house, not had a peep out of them since and it's been peaceful lol. Sometimes it's the only language people understand.

Re: neighbour dispute advice

This is one of those situations where you need to be a mature adult.

Go nextdoor, knock on politely and when mr knobjockey answers drag him out on the front drive and beat him to a pulp in front of his family.

Re: neighbour dispute advice

Presumably it's a party fence and £170 as 50% of a quote for fencing doesn't sound too silly.
If you want to be awkward, ask for three written quotes and say you will pay 50% of the lowest or £170, whichever is the least. I suggest a polite letter. Really it would be better to do it through a Solicitor, but unless you happen to have one in the family it really isn't worth the hassle or cost.

Be careful, as boundary disputes can escalate into legal action, and in extreme cases the costs could be many thousands of pounds. Unless you are an eccentric millionaire, It Just Ain't Worth It.
