One of my heroes and, I guess, a hero to most men my age. RIP Neil.

I'll never forget that day watching TV and the following missions especially apollo 13.

The people who brought them home were truly amazing.

RIP to the man. All conspiracy theorists should be lined up and publically executed as a mark of respect.

Morons. He was the first man to fake landing on the Moon.

I have a signed photo of Neil Armstrong, I wonder what it is worth now?

Quite a lot, I believe he refused to sign autographs for the last few decades

Whether you believe the landing happened or not (it obviously did), you cannot deny the good the "idea" of landing on the moon has done. Growing up you always wanted to be a fire fighter, a pilot, or an astronaut. It pushed the boundaries of what we can do and accomplish. With the diminishing of the space program in recent years and the end of the shuttle missions, I think a lot of the new generation just does not appreciate what an amazing accomplishment it is getting into space, let alone landing on the moon. RIP Neil Armstrong, a true world hero and someone that should never be forgotten.
