Neil McNab seriously ill

I remember Neil from my early days at Maine Road. A right terrier on the pitch. Get well soon. Once a Blue......
Amongst the crunching tackles, the first in the 10-1 my favourite memory was him at Maine Rs trying to take a throw-in with an injured shoulder meaning he couldn't get both arms up properly over his head.

All the best Neil the NDJ of my younger years.

Vividly remember him playing part of a match at Maine Road with his arm in a sling. And a real crunching tackle right in front of me in a cup tie - at Huddersfield I think. A man of iron.

Met him a good few years back at a service station on the m40 while he was coaching at pompey, I think it was under Alan Ball. Real nice guy. Good memories of his time at city, old head guiding the youth, clapping the kippax when we shouted 'man on' and his outside of the boot curler at birmingham in 89. All the best Neil and family.

Was at that game at Birmingham - very windy which Neil took advantage of to score. he was great in that season guiding a young team to promotion. Hope things go as well as possible for him and his family. Still ahero to many on here.

Went to school with his sons both my brothers age and decent lads. McNab was one of my favourite players growing up and going to Maine Rd loved the fact he got stuck in and put himself about. Top tache as well. Hope he gets better soon.
