Neil Warnock is a close personal friend of Simon Jordan, he wanted to resign the day Jordan went but jordan persuaded him to stay.

Isn't the story that Ron Noades is going to pick up Palace from the administrator and doesn't want Warnock, who was a mate of Palace's previous owner? So doing it this way gets Warnock a new job at an ambitious club with money, it gets Palace compensation instead of having to sack him if the new owner's don't want him and give HIM a pay off, and Palace's new owners can then freely appoint their own man. Everyone's a winner. Slagging Warnock off for this is way off the mark.

well put.

also, if your employer was going bankrupt would you likely stick around until they folded or would you be thinking of finding another job before you were turfed out on your todd when they couldn't afford to pay you and basically had to can you?

Exactly what I was going to put.

Let's see how "loyal" Palace were to the contract they signed with Warnock in the first place. Anyone who clings onto a sinking ship when a perfectly buoyant one floats past is taking "loyalty" to ridiculous levels and quite clearly needs their head checking.
