Neil Warnock

I've always liked him. He wears his heart on his sleeve and his sides are always tough to play against. There's this image of him sitting in a rocking chair with a voodoo doll of Tevez but, in reality, he's happily married with 4 Kids.

think he learnt his lesson at sheff utd and now he cant belive his luck to have another go and is enjoying the ride

p.s he still loves slur

Always thought he was a graceless, long ball thug advocating wanker,

But I have changed my opinion thought he was class before the match and after with his comments.
I am somewhat mystified at the hatred expressed towards Neil Warnock among the fanbases of this and some other clubs.

He has, I'm sure, numerous faults, as all people have. But among football managers I have long thought of him as one of the best, as a person. From what I have read about him, and hearing him speak, he actually seems to be one of the most intelligent, and informed persons involved in football. And one who is not as totally obsessed with football as are many managers, players, and fans. A more complete civilised human being in fact.

As for "graceless, long ball", many managers have had to resort to these sorts of tactics because of the lack of quality in their squads. Warnock is far from a rarity in this. There is every evidence that, given the opportunity, he would love for a team he manages to play the beautiful, skilful style of football which Man.City are playing.

I hope that QPR stay up, and that Neil Warnock is given a good run at this level of football. When you compare him with some of the other English managers around - Steve McClaren, for one - it seems to me that Warnock has deserved much more recognition than they have.
