Neil Warnock

Like his honesty. Not enough of it in the game. Ian Holloway and Mick McCarty are similar types. Say it as it is. I think more managers should be as honest.
Yep. I like all three men. Good for the game.

-- Tue Jan 03, 2012 10:55 am --

Well I accept that some people think it's refreshing to hear managers that appear to speak up when something isn't quite right, and if this was done on an even basis, accross the board, I might agree. However, I can't help feeling that unlike Brian Clough, who actually was a truly great man, with the balls to speak the truth regarding any matter, no matter how controvercial, the three you all seem to be creaming yourselves about, only comment or complain about easy targets, picking and choosing where to pass comment and steering well clear of any real likely conflict.
Why have none of these guys had the balls to come out at any stage and state what ridiculous bias is shown by all the Officials and Media combined, towards Alex Feregusson and his classless shower of shit? I mean come on, they all seem to like like to snipe at our advantage, due solely to our wealth, but who never seem to harp on about the fact Fergies longterm success is due mainly to a regime of fear, and I'm not talking about the fear his own staff have of failing him, but the fear those administrating the game have of treading on the bent scots twats toes.
All the money in the World couldn't buy the laughable decisions that go in favour of the rag fuckers, but even those you seem to hold up so high always keep their tongues firmly in place up Fergies ring, and in my opinion there isn't anything that great about picking and choosing all the easy fights.
Neil Warnock was on MOTD2 last season when United played away at WBA. It was the game where Neville clearly brought down a WBA player in the box; it was a clear penalty and red card, nothing was given. Warnock was asked what he thought about the situation and he said "it's a farce, i've never seen such a clear professional foul! and nothing was given? haha! well i suppose it is Manchester United, and 'SIR' Alex Ferguson. oh no you can't give decisions against them!" there was a quick shift in the seat of Colin Murray who obviously had producers in his ear shouting "he can't say that, butt-in, change the subject" and Murray quickly talked about something else.

That red for Joey was undeserved but as captain he shouldn't be getting involved in those kind of standpoints anyway. I wish Warnock would focus on that rather than the playacting.

There are certain managers that always whinge about referees - Warnock, McCarthy and Pulis spring to mind. Boring - focus on your team's failings.

you forgot to add wenger, everybody else to blame bar his players...

Can't stand the prick, he needs to talk a bit less. I seem to remember him saying something along the lines of us putting out a weakened team in order to get him and Sheffield relegated. I have no time for him and his huge teeth.

Why is it ''...low..'' to call a cheat a cheat?

It is certainly not low to have the balls to say what you think to a world wide audience whilst on TV.

Despite the fact that he's got a whingeing tone to his voice much of the time, Warnock generally says it as it is, so I have a lot of time for him. Fergie, Wenger and Dalglish are all lying, biased fuckers in comparison, and are the worst managers to listen to, in my opinion. All the others are pretty reasonable and give honest opinions on most things, but Warnock is the most truthful of them all, save for St Roberto Mancini of Manchester.

Mick McCarthy is top; he's honest and fair.

Holloway and Warnock love the sound of their own voice and like to talk in soundbites to attempt to create headlines.

Calling the opposition player a 'cheat' is a bit low.

I agree. I dont think its fair to bunch Mick in with these 2 pricks. Case in point, after yesterdays game the interviewer tried to get McCarthy to comment on Lampard and whether he should have been on the pitch to score the winner. Instead of taking the bait and blaming the ref for the result (like Warnock & Holloway would) Mick laid the blame squarely at his defence for failing to stop Lampard from scoring. He was livid with them!
