Net Spend per Trophy

Pep has said in the last few years that with our incoming transfer fees we haven’t actually spent what the media say we have spent. He said Grealish only actually cost us £40m.

In the last three years we are bottom of the Top6 for net expenditure and for FFP purposes that’s a good thing.
Yeah i actually agree with you

Net spend is a complete and utter misnomer, as it’s currently portrayed anyway. It’s currently described as some sort of footballer related Bargain Hunt, which is nonsensical.

Net spend, by its very name, needs to equate ‘what you spend’ with ‘what you earn’ not focus on the narrow strip of land that is ‘transfer net spend’.

The key metric, for non cartel teams at least, is winning stuff.

City make an absolute shitload of prize money because they don’t often sell their prized assets, and win often. They get lucrative sponsorship deals because the sponsors want to be associated with ‘winning’ but this barely gets a mention by people with an agenda to push.

But!!! We have been told that our owner is bad for football? Negatively and lies rammed down our throats daily by other clubs, managers, Uefa and the media. I’m confused?

Have we ruined football or have we become a competitive club that try’s to win trophies while also maintaining a heathy profit? Again very confused. Someone is not telling the truth.

I will have to confer with united, Liverpool, Arsenal, spurs and Chelsea fans in order to better understand how we as a club are continuing to get away with inflated commercial revenue! I mean puma for example, must be lying to their own accounts department. It’s just don’t make any sense -:)
