The Premier League titles and CL wins mean City earn 5 times what a Villa earn. So should we spend it and stay in pole position or should we hoard it and lose our advantage in 2-3 seasons.

I think its fairly common knowledge that our fans realise that we re-invest that money into the squad, hence our continued success.
Pity the hacks and fans of other clubs cannot get their head around this easy concept.

(for the actual 20 PL clubs)
which is just an average €22m net spend per club and year.

Compared to the brainless wages it's nothing.
