The only anime which I have been watching for ages is ONE PIECE.

Bit I guess 916 epis so far...its too much to start now
 
I’m not into anime but I’ll tell you what I am, very strangely, into is that ahegao/“ahegao drool” face that cosplay girls do in porn. It’s weird as fuck and when I first saw it I thought it was fucking stupid but I’m weirdly into it now. No idea why!

Yes, I’m a disturbed individual!
 
I'm after some Xmas shopping advice.

My daughter(15) is a huge anime fan. I know she loves Death Note and Attack on Titan as well as Food Wars and one where they play volleyball?

But I'm after some good Manga books as I know she's recently read the Blue Exorcist series and loved it.

So any good Manga recommendations would be much appreciated.

Full Metal Alchemist was alright. I'm not into any anime these days but I enjoyed that at an age when I was older than 15
 
Bringing this one back, i watched a couple of Netflix original anime's, one is Blood of Zeus and i've just started watching Dragon's Dogma. There's def a big difference in voice acting skills when it comes to Japanese vs Western. English is the original language of these animes, but its so poor that when i change it to Japanese, it sounds much better even though i've no idea what they're saying. The delivery is just much better.

If you like Baki you would love Kengan Ashura if you have seen that?

I prefer that to Baki and I love Baki!

I believe Attack on Titan final season is out this week as well if anyone has seen that?

Yep seen all of them you've mentioned.
You should watch the original Baki series, i think it might be on Youtube. I watched all of the Ippo episodes on YouTube, its brilliant. Another one i quite like is Haikyu, it's about volleyball which is a bit daft but it's surprisingly good.
 
Attack on Titan 3, death note, naruto, bleach, and others. I'm 24 years old but I still love to watch sometimes anime and read the manga. Of course, I don't watch Sailor Moon. I remember when I was studying at school I and my friends used to tell each other what we think about some anime or manga and discuss their plot. Last week was my birthday and my friend bought me a pillow from this site https://www.animelovepillow.com/anime/anime-life-size-pillow/ with sakura from naruto, it's more like a joke than a gift but there is something cute in this. By the way, it's very useful and stylish.

Regards Prime &Netflix,being a MOC. And extremely deaf,being housebound like lots of my generation,I am really pissed off at how few films have subtitles,actors speaking with their backs to the camera,eating or smoking,or hand in front of their mouths,it’s not as though we deaf MOC are aminority .For ................ sake (I mumbled there ,annoying isn’t it) film makers get your act together.

I will always recommend "One Piece" for any one who wants to watch anime. It is my favorite anime. It started airing around 2000 (I think, based on my memory!) and is still on-going.
It is one of the best animes in handling "fillers" (i.e. story that is not in original Manga/script); unlike Naruto's fillers which are usually lame and kills the interest in the series.

Naruto and Naruto Shippuden are still recommended for watching (if you know the fillers' episodes, you can think of skipping them and to concentrate on the original story)

If you like swords/samurai anime; then I would recommend "Rurouni Kenshin" and "Samurai Shamploo".

If you are looking for sports-based anime, then: Hajime no Ippo (Boxing), One Outs (Baseball), Cross Game (Baseball), Eyeshield 21 (American Football), Slam Dunk (Basketball), Capeta (Kart racing/racing) & Prince of Tennis (Obviously Tennis!).

If you are looking for Robots/Mecha anime; then you might try watching a Gundam series. For a Super robot anime, you can try GaoGaiGar.

Other notable series that come to my mind are: Fullmetal Alchemist, Full Metal Panic, Bleach, Fairy Tail.
